Cookie Policy
No advertising cookies and no tracking. Here's exactly what is used, and when.
Last updated: 14 October 2026
In short: just browsing this website sets no cookies at all. A few cookies are used only when you do something that needs them: signing in as a lodge member, sending a form, paying online, or choosing to show the map.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Some are essential, for example to keep you signed in. Others are used to track people for advertising. We don't use that kind.
Cookies on this website
Our own pages don't set any cookies. We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook pixels or any other tracking or advertising tools. Our fonts are stored on our own site, so your browser doesn't contact Google to load them.
The booking calendar, enquiry form, events list and members' login are provided by our booking system, TylerHQ. They only set cookies in the situations below.
Remembering you've seen our cookie notice
When you press "OK" on our cookie notice, your browser remembers it in its local storage (bmc-cookie-notice), so the notice doesn't keep appearing. This stays on your device, isn't sent to us, and isn't used to track you. Clear your browser's site data to remove it.
When cookies may be used
| When | Set by | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| You sign in to the members' area | TylerHQ (tylerhq.net) | Keeps you signed in securely (sb-…-auth-token) |
Until you sign out, or the session expires |
| You send an enquiry or request form | Cloudflare Turnstile | Checks you're a person, not a spam robot | Short-lived, for that check only |
| You pay a deposit or balance online | Stripe, on its secure payment pages | Processes the payment and helps prevent fraud (for example __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid) |
From 30 minutes up to 1 year |
| You press "Show map" on our Find us page | Google Maps | Displays the map. Google may also use these cookies for its own purposes | Set by Google, see its policy |
The first three are "strictly necessary": the service you've asked for can't work without them, so the law doesn't require consent. The map only loads, and Google's cookies are only set, when you choose to show it. Until then, you can use the "Open in Google Maps" link instead.

Managing cookies
You can see, block and delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, some features may stop working, such as signing in or paying online. Browsing and checking availability will still work.
